DeVon L. Wilson

DeVon L. Wilson is a Research Affiliate with the Wei LAB and serves as the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the College of Letters & Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to this, Wilson was a Research Associate at the Wei LAB while obtaining his doctorate through the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis Department (ELPA). Wilson’s work examines issues of historically underrepresented and economically vulnerable communities in colleges and universities, with a particular interest in fostering engagement of student-athletes in high-impact academically-centered leadership experiences and developing talent development centered programs to increase the number of historically underrepresented student pipelines to professional/graduate schools and/or entry into high-demand fields. He also worked to develop strategies that utilize advising analytics to drive programmatic strategies and inform curricular changes.
